Founded in 2013, Big Data for Media is a media industry association that serves an international group of C-Level executives and data professionals. In the past five years, media companies have been investing in their Big Data strategies, which include hiring strategists, data scientists, data analysts, data engineers, and more. Overarching strategies include leveraging audience insights, developing new products and generating revenue from data-driven endeavours. The association organises multiple events around the world each year, and generates research for its members.
